This coloring book features 24 original illustrations plus a 10-page introduction to astrology. Each of the 12 zodiac signs have a chapter that introduces the key information about each that provides the fundamentals for exploring astrology.
Unlocking Harmony
A coloring book for better health and inner peace, Unlocking Harmony features 24 mandala-style patterns as well as an introductory guide about coloring for well-being, color harmonies, chakra energies, and the simple practice of mindful coloring.
Journey of Colors
This book features 24 original illustrations and a guide to technique that shares an introduction to the color wheel, tips for coloring, and inspiration to get the most out of the art experience.
Coloring Journal Sets
Designed to make journaling even more fun, these coloring journals feature illustrations interspersed with lined pages for an immersive art-and-journaling activity. Paired with coloring postcards that feature the same artwork.
eBook & Pocket Guide
This pocket guide shares the author’s 13 top reasons for coloring daily, along with insights on how to tap into the good-for-you benefits of coloring. Released as an eBook and paperback pocket guide.

Publishing services for yoga therapist and sleep coach, including interior design, project management, and proofing for English and Spanish editions in both ebook and paperback.
New Business Brand
Design, writing, and web building services for new business owned by executive coach. Guided the client through ideation, writing web copy, and putting it all together as a polished, cohesive brand.
Original logo Art
Logo design services to create a custom character for professional pet photographer, bringing the client’s vision to life with original artwork inspired by her and her own dog.
NBA Game Day Poster
Original artwork for Portland Trail Blazers Featured Artist Game Day poster. Hand-drawn illustration and graphic design, delivering a print-ready PDF for the Game Day Poster to be printed. Included delivery of a framed print signed by the players and gifted to a fan during the game.
Website & Packaging
Original illustration, photography, and graphic design for a local company’s new website and product labeling. The aim was for simplicity and clarity of message across website, logo imagery, written text, and product packaging.
Independent Publishing
Editing, interior design, cover design, and printing and distribution of a custom-made book. Released in conjunction with the company’s new building dedication.
NATURE EDUCATION project
Custom Coloring art Series
Three original illustrations created for Environment Oregon, to be used in their conservation efforts to Protect the Owyhee Canyonlands. This is part of an ongoing collaboration to create an educational art kit for teachers, leaders, and conservation activists. Hundreds of copies of the coloring pages have been distributed to raise awareness about the need to protect this part of Oregon.

About Mackenzie
Mackenzie Bakewell is the artist and author of the books Coloring the Cosmos, Unlocking Harmony, Journey of Colors, and Coloring is Good for You: 13 Reasons to Color Daily. Mackenzie graduated from Oregon State University, where she studied New Media Communications. Her artwork and writings are inspired by a lifetime of exploring nature and new places with her camera and sketchbook in hand.
